Folk Music at the Symphony – Folktone at the CBSO

We were deeply honoured to join the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for a pre-concert performance on 5 February 2025 – with the Rőmer family and Folktone Productions bringing folk music and dance to this world-class stage.

It was an absolute joy to perform in such a beautiful space, for such an attentive and open-hearted audience.
Bringing folk traditions into conversation with classical settings like this creates truly special moments – and this evening was no exception.
